Engineering & Security

• 1" solid steel pry-resistant recessed door

A full 1" thick C-Rate solid steel door, recessed to resist prying and lever attacks. This is the same door spec used across AMSEC’s commercial security chest lineup.

• ½" solid steel body

C-Rate solid steel walls on all sides resist drilling, cutting, and grinding attacks, offering a level of deterrence beyond standard commercial safes.

• Three 1" diameter chromed steel locking bolts

A handle-driven mechanism throws all three bolts simultaneously, spreading clamping force across the door edge and reducing vulnerability to single-point attacks.

• Solid steel full-length dead bar

A continuous dead bar on the hinge side prevents the door from being removed even if the external hinges are cut or attacked.

• Carburized hardplate over lock area

Hardened steel plate protects the lock and relockers, designed to chew up and defeat drill bits before they can reach the combination mechanism.

• Spring-loaded relocker

A passive mechanical backup that automatically fires if the lock body is punched or attacked, deadbolting the safe without any power or user input.

• UL Listed Group II combination lock

Key-changeable mechanical lock with up to 1,000,000 possible combinations. Combinations can be changed when staff changes occur without replacing the lock.
